Along with hidden items, unlockables, and cheats, "Ratchet & Clank's" patch has been revealed to block spoiler content for Kevin Munroe and Jerrica Cleland's animated feature film version.

According to Christian Today, "Ratchet & Clank's" patch 1.02 is intended to block movie clips that are linked into the game's cutscenes and levels during streaming. More than that, it is also designed to disable the function button of the Share button when the scenes are being displayed onscreen.

As per the publication, Sony and Insomniac Games executed the intervention, as they understood that "Ratchet & Clank" fans would not like any spoilers about the forthcoming animated film, which is attached to the shooter game. Hence, the patch is confirmed to prevents feeding fans potential film spoilers for the film, as per PlayStation Lifestyle.

In other news, the gameplay for "Ratchet & Clank" reveals various secrets and cheats a player can unlock for tracking down every Gold Bolt, in addition to masks, bolt styles, concept art, and screen filters.

Meanwhile, the "Ratchet & Clank" film centers on the mechanic and his robot ally join an elite force of fighters to save the cosmos when the galaxy is threatened by a nefarious space captain.

The film stars the voices of Jim Ward, Rosario Dawson, Paul Giamatti, John Goodman, Marc Graue, Alessandro Juliani, Dean Redman, Armin Shimerman, Sylvester Stallone, Bella Throne, James Arnold Taylor as Ratchet, and David Kaye as Clank, among others.
