'Rainbow Six Siege’ DLC Update: New DLC Called Skull Rain; Adds Tactical Realism Game Mode
In line with Ubisoft's "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege" downloadable content (DLC), it seems that the said update is not alone.
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's" DLC is called "Skull Rain." According to iDigital Times, the said content also include a new game mode, which is called "Tactical Realism." As per the publication, fans can utilize it to play with the hardcore rules, which suggests that other things on the HUD will vanish, barring the gadget panels, weapon, compass, and round timer.
In the game mode, players can no longer mark their enemies and confirm the number of enemies they killed. However, the is the realistic ammo management, which helps players when it comes to their items and inventories. As per reports, the said mode is still in beta; thus, it is assumed that it is set to have more fixes before it is officially out.
"Skull Rain's" patch notes also cover information about game health, player comfort, and ranking. According to Ubisoft's website, the patch implements measures against cheaters and team killing, in addition to extra tools to deal with toxic players in text chat on PC.
In terms of player comfort, Ubisoft's patch has added teammates' information on the waiting screen, full screen weapon access, and randomized map rotation. With regard the ranks, they will be partially reset at the start of the third season and the number of ranked qualification matches players have to hit to get a rank is now displayed.
"Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege's" "Skull Rain" is set to be released to players with Season Pass on Aug. 2 and to other players on Aug. 9.
