'Rainbow Six Siege' DLC Update: Expected To Come Out February 2, Ubisoft Launching Closed Beta?

This weekend, a 50 percent Renown Boost for "Rainbow Six Siege" will happen according to My Informs. However, that is as far a we know right now since the French multinational video game developer and publisher, Ubisoft, has not revealed any additional information regarding the matter.

This weekend might actually result in a conflict for some gamers' schedule since it was also announced that Ubisoft will also be launching the closed Beta of their most awaited Tom Clancy game, "Tom Clancy's The Division." The closed Beta was said to be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Even though there's a bit of a conflict there, this would only mean that fans should be even more excited because of the variety of games that will be available, despite the said conflict. Avid fans of "Rainbow Six Siege" will get the IP's first downloadable content entitled, "Operation Black Ice." It was reported that the new downloadable content will feature "Frost and Buck" as new game operators.

These new characters are highly skilled and specialized. According to Ecumenical News, Frost can "incapacitate" her enemies by setting up "mechanical traps." Buck on the other hand, has an ability called the "Skeleton Key." The said ability is an under-barrel shotgun installed on his primary weapon.

We will keep you up-to-date regarding this DLC as soon as we hear a word from the developers. "Rainbow Six Siege: Operation Black Ice" is speculated to be released in all of its gaming platforms on Feb. 2, 2016.
