'Rainbow Six Siege' DLC 2 Release Date, News, Details: Second Game DLC Going To Be US-Themed

While the release date for the second "Rainbow Six Siege" DLC remains to be seen, Ubisoft has given gamers some niceties about the DLC that will come after "Operation Black Ice," the current DLC of the game.

During an Investor Day presentation held in March, Ubisoft revealed that the second DLC pack will adopt a US theme.

The company also disclosed that it will release a total of eight operators this year. Following "Operation Back Ice's" introduction of two new Canadian operators, Buck and Frost, gamers expect that the second DLC will again introduce two new characters.

It is also rumored that the second DLC will feature new game modes, new maps, events, activities and cosmetic items, and will most likely be released before the second quarter of 2016 ends.

Recently, Ubisoft officially announced that aside from "Operation Black Ice" and the US-themed DLC, two more DLCs are coming this year, hence a total of 4 DLCs for Rainbow Six Siege.

While the setting of the first DLC is in the cold waters of Canada, the setting of the upcoming DLC will be the country upon which it is based, which is the United States.

After the release of the second DLC, the third DLC will be released in the third quarter of the year and will be Brazil-themed, while the fourth one will be released by the fourth quarter and will be Japan-themed.

Meanwhile, the official page of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege encourages gamers to get the Season Pass in order to save money on DLCs.
