Raffaele Sollecito Trial News: Beginning to Resemble Amanda Knox?
It has been a long time since two-time convict Raffaele Sollecito had appeared before the public since his recent conviction. In his TV guest appearance, the convicted Italian for murdering former partner Meredith Kretcher with also convicted Amanda Knox, reportedly looks even more like Knox.
It was a weird impression towards Sollecito that he and girlfriend Knox, are now slowly resembling each other. As the two prepare to appeal their case next month, a year after being found guilty of committing the crime last year, audiences have reportedly noticed their similar features.
Not only because Sollecito's hair is quite long like that of Knox but also their faces have been turning a little too similar for several news outlets. Meanwhile, as Sollecito sat down for an interview on Italian TV State Ra1, he pressed on his being innocent.
"I still cannot believe I might go to prison for something I did not do. I have suffered threats and pressures by investigators. They locked me in a room for 15 hours and questioned me for a long time, threatening that I would not be allowed out of prison," Sollecito said.
"I can still not shake off this sword of Damocles," Sollecito added, also believing that "100 per cent," Knox did not kill the victim. Reportedly, in the legal system of Italy, the two remain to be at large because any verdict reached after a second appeal may be ratified by the highest court, which the two convicted personalities hope to be favourable for them.
After being convicted, Sollecito reportedly already achieved finishing a degree in Information Technology while Knox, who currently lives in West Seattle in the United States, already completed her degree in Creative writing and is now currently a freelance reporter.
Meanwhile, the case of Krecher, as it is hoped to be finally put to an end, is still on hold for the upcoming trial for Sollecito and Knox's appeals which will reportedly be held next month.
