Break out the baby shower gifts! Perception actress Rachael Leigh Cook is expecting her second child with her husband, Daniel Gillies. Congratulations to the lucky couple!

Cook and Gillies are certainly celebratory. "We're as happy as we were surprised by this wonderful news!" the couple declared, "We haven't slept since 2013 and welcome advice from all parents who survived Two Under Two."

The pair didn't sound like they had exactly planned their second child, but they are excited.

The couple was married in 2004, and Cook was expecting by 2013. Soon, the gorgeous acting celebrities had birthed their first daughter, Charlotte Easton Gillies. They were over the moon about the healthy baby, and Daniel couldn't wait to share the news. He tweeted, "it's a girl. the tiny new empress of my everything. she's immaculate. we're delirious."

In March, Gillies shared how wonderfully the couple's little girl was growing. "She's the greatest thing ever," Gillies told Us, "I don't know what to say. I get to see her about one day a week because of the show. I fly home every single weekend to see her, and she's heaven."

The Originals actor, Daniel, declared, "I can't describe what it's like to look at her, to hold her. She's just a happy, beautiful kid," he added, "Honestly, any guy who's lucky enough to have a daughter is a king."

Rachael Leigh Cook acts in Perception when she's not taking care of adorable little Charlotte. On that note, she will play Kate Moretti when the new episodes air in February.
