'Quantum Break' Steam And PC Release Date: Game Release Pushed Back To September 29
New details on the Steam release of Remedy Entertainment's "Quantum Break"have surfaced and as per reports, players will be able to access it in the second half of the month.
"Quantum Break's" Steam release has been moved from Sept. 14 to Sept. 29, Eurogamer has learned. As per the publication, it was due to the additional time needed for the mastery and production of the game's "Timeless Collector's Edition" for retail.
In a statement in a press release, as cited by Game Spot, Remedy said that due to additional time required for mastering and manufacturing the "Quantum Break - Timeless Collector's Edition" for retail, the decision had been made to move the release to Sept. 29. As per the studio, it applied to both the Steam version and the retail version.
It is previously noted that the aforementioned "Quantum Break" version is set to cover the latest game updates and it is priced at $40. Also, the "Timeless Collector's Edition" is set to have premium packing, a quick-start guide, an A3 poster, a soundtrack CD, a making-of Blu-ray, and an artbook.
According to Game Rant, some players have expressed their frustrations following the delay of the game's Steam version release, not to mention that the problem only involves the physical version. As per the publication, they would like "Quantum Break" on Steam to be released on Sept. 14, as initially scheduled.
Overall, "Quantum Break's" Steam release is scheduled on Sept. 29.
