There is just no stopping "Quantico" season 1 from introducing new twists in its storyline. The series has just returned on Sunday and several mind-boggling developments have already been unfolded.

Titled "Clear," the 13^th episode of the series begins with a terrorist lashing a bomb to Natalie, and everything else picks up from there.

Alex takes her team by surprise when she decides to work for the terrorist, thus crossing a line that not everybody expects she would cross. With this new undertaking, she realizes that applying their skills as trainee agents to real-life cases is not just a piece of cake.

In the trailer, the NATs leave the campus to accomplish a mission. Unfortunately, it turns out that testing their skills in the real world is not as plain sailing as they think it is. In fact, the trailer teases that this week's mission will not even go any better than their mission last week, when the team had to pit itself against the older class.

This week, Alex and her fellow agents will "learn how to source information from confidential informants" and will eventually realize that being an agent is actually a grueling task.

The trailer also teases that "Alex and a fellow agent find themselves in a life or death situation when they are forced to provide classified information that could result in deadly consequences."

Doing as the terrorists say in order to survive is a crippling dilemma for the team, and this is where the most terrifying part of the episode gets in. The promotional video for the episode reveals that by the end of the first hour, a member of the team will be dead.  

The next episode of "Quantico" season 1 set to premiere on Sunday, March 13 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
