'Quantico' Season 1 Episode 16 Spoilers: Alex Allies With Hannah to Save Claire

After realizing that Chopra may have had the right inkling about the real terrorists, Hannah stepped up.

It can be remembered that in episode 15 of "Quantico," Alex found an unlikely cohort in the person of Hannah Wyland. Hoping to switch a tapped pill bottle with the original one in the purse of Senator Claire Haas, Hannah gave her some lectures on how to do the job.

In episode 16 titled "Clue," Hannah and Alex found out that Claire Haas' life was in jeopardy after learning of the bomber's plan to strike that night.

According to ABC's episode synopsis, "The NATs (new agent trainees) will be given a seemingly unwinnable training exercise."

The exercise would strike too close to home for Shelby Wyatt, who had just learned that her parents were not among the casualties in the September 11, 2001 attack. In fact, they were the ones who took Samar Hashmi into service to pretend as her half-sister and con money from their daughter.

"Clue" also showed Alex trying to persuade Hannah not to make any disclosure to the FBI director about the terrorist, telling her that they could stop the person if they work together. In the end, Hannah was convinced to keep mum about the issue but on one condition: She would take charge of the investigation.

Conflict arose when Coupe learned that the team of Haas had made some changes in their itinerary, as Claire wanted to have a last-minute trip to Ohio. Hence, the terrorist's plan to strike that night shriveled and he had to cope with the itinerary change to carry out his plan.

"Quantico" airs every Sunday, 10:00 P.M. on ABC.
