‘PSN’ Store News & Updates: System Is Now Up And Running, Sony Adds Credit Card Purchase Details

PSN has experienced some issues, but they have been resolved.

According to the PSN status page, as cited by PlayStation Lifestyle, all services are up and running. These cover the account management, gaming and social, PlayStation Now, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Store, and PlayStation Music. As per the publication, it is hoped that issues will not recur in the future.

Previously, players were not able to log in to PSN due to an unscheduled maintenance. As per reports, the system was down and it happened less than a week ago. Also, players would see a WS-37432-9 or NP-35000-8 error codes when checking the internet connection settings of the PlayStation 4.

During the maintanenace, the aforementioned areas were affected, barring PlayStation video; thus, players would be able to claim the newly released PlayStation Plus games, according to PlayStation Lifestyle. As per the publication, such issues affected users of the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita.

On Sept. 6, Ask PlayStation wrote on Twitter that they were aware that users were experiencing issues logging into PSN, adding that they were thankful for the users' patience as they investigated.

In line with the PSN, Sony added information on adding and removing credit card and PayPal information on the PlayStation 4.

As per the PSN's official website, users who have concerns on their credit cards must wait for 24 hours before they attempt to make another purchase or attempt to update their billing information again. It is added that trying to make a purchase or change the billing during the 24 hour period will reset the blocked status, which means the user has to wait for another 24 hours.

Meanwhile, Sony is assumed to announce the new PlayStation 4 Neo at the PlayStation Meeting dated Sept. 7.
