PS4 News: Sony’s E3 Lineup, New Games, PlayStation Now to be Available on Samsung Smart TV [VIDEO]
PlayStation fans will be delighted to know that Sony has just revealed the company's schedule as well as the lineup for the three-day Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2015, which will commence on Tuesday at the Los Angeles Convention Center. However, the annual E3 press conference of Sony will be held a day before the event starts - at 6:00 p.m. PDT on Monday, June 15.
According to IB Times, those interested, but cannot attend E3 will still be able to watch the events via their PS4 or PS3 console. PlayStation Blog has already announced that there are many different ways to watch the E3 2015 activities live - via the Live Events Viewer app, PlayStation.com, YouTube, Twitch, or PlayStation Blog, the official PlayStation website.
At the same time, fans also ought to look out for the PlayStation LiveCast. In fact, Sony has scheduled four sessions, and the opening episode at noon PDT on Tuesday. In PlayStation LiveCast, fans can watch new gameplay footage and demos, in addition to developer interviews.
Sony has revealed quite the list of playable games for fan who will be attending the E3 2015. As of now there are 45, but more are promised. The inviting lineup comprises several interesting titles, counting 'Drawn to Death,' 'Street Fighter V,' 'The Tomorrow Children,' 'Batman: Arkham Knight' and 'Super Meat Boy.'
In addition, Europe will also get something new for the PS4. Already Sony has announced a limited-edition 'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain' for PS4, which has a deep red and black console and a Diamond Dogs logo, in addition to a metallic gray controller. The bundle will also come with a copy of 'Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain.'
According to PlayStation Blog Europe, this bundle will only be available in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. However, the company said that a North American release is still not in the works. Sony representative confirmed that they have no announcements for a similar release in North America.
At the same time, it seems that Sony is expanding the reach of its PlayStation Now service by including some models of the Samsung Smart TVs in the list. DualShockers reports that Sony Computer Entertainment has previously announced the addition of non-Sony devices that will receive the service.
