PS Plus Free Games May 2016 Predictions, Rumors: Game Subscribers Look Forward To Free AAA Titles
Now that Sony has not yet confirmed the official roster of free games for their PlayStation Plus, fans can only guess what the titles are until they are released in May.
Considering Sony's track record for releasing free titles, as well as rival Xbox's recent giveaway of free AAA titles, active subscribers of PS Plus consider Sony's release of AAA titles as free games highly likely. There are some who speculate that another indie game like the "Rocket League" will be released next month, although that remains to be seen.
The Europe PlayStation forum is teeming with fans' predictions of the specific titles of the free games. Among those mentioned was the "Axiom Verge," which may be made available on PlayStation 4. There are also predictions that the "Assassin's Creed: Rogue" will come out on PlayStation 3.
Just recently, This Gen Gaming also released a roster of games that PS Plus subscribers expect to come out on PlayStation 3 and 4.
"Assassin's Creed," once a giveaway for Xbox Live Gold members, was on the list. Critically acclaimed horror game "The Evil Within" also made it to the list, along with "Dishonored Definitive Edition" which was previously a hit on PS3 and is currently rumored to have its sequel coming out this year.
A new-gen mastered version of "God of War," "God of War 3: Remastered" came in second.
Lastly, topping the list was "Killzone Shadow Fall," which was released in 2013 as a debut title for the newest PS4 console.
Sony has yet to announce the official list of free titles this coming May.
