Pro Day Workouts 2015: Workout Schedule Announced Before NFL Draft Pick

This year's Pro Day Workout schedule was released on Thursday, ahead of the NFL Draft. Usually the draft schedule is released first, but this year it is not the case. Reasons for the switch are unknown.

For those who are unfamiliar with Pro Day Workouts, it is a chance for college football players to shine in a comfortable environment. Each university across the country has one. NFL scouts come and watch players participate in drills, workouts, and plays, trying to get the scouts' attention. Major college teams that produce a large quantity of NFL prospects generate huge interest for those scouts. It is the best opportunity to get noticed by the NFL.

According to past studies, players who participate at their university stadiums feel more comfortable rather than performing at the Combine, which is held in Indianapolis.

Notable Schools that are set to host their Pro Day are as follows: Virginia, Texas A&M, Arizona State, Oregon, Penn State, Notre Dame and UCLA. The Pro Days continue clear until April.

According to the Bleacher Report, UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley was in the top interests for the NFL. However, during his Pro Day, he did not perform as well as expected and ended up as the 32nd pick in the first round. However, past games paid off of he was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings.

Pro Days either make or break a college football player's chances to make it to be big leagues. News and coverage of this year's Pro Days will continue as more players rise to the challenge to perform their best in their comfort zone on their home campus for the NFL.
