"Prison Break" is on a long hiatus until they surprised the fans that there will be Season 5. As for the hottest updates, the filming has already begun and new and old cast members share some of the information that the viewers are hungry for.

The show's "reprobates" Amaury Nolasco, Robert Knepper and Rockmond Dunbar, who play the roles of Sucre, T-Bag and C-Note, respectively, shared some snapshots as they walked into the set, as per Metro report. On the other hand, Parent Herald also noted that Dominic Purcell, who plays Lincoln Burrows, has his fair share of "mugshot" photo of himself on Instagram.

Old cast members for the "Prison Break" revival that will be reprising their roles include Wentworth Miller as Michael Scofield, Sarah Wayne Callies as Dr. Sara Tancredi, and Paul Adelstein as Paul Kellerman. William Fichtner as FBI agent Alexander Mahone might return to he show as well.

As for the new cast members, Faran Tahir was selected to play the role of Jamil on the nine-episode series, according to The Express Tribune.  "The beauty of the show is the reunion of all these loved characters with the inclusion of some new ones," he said.

"What I can say is that the story has been taken forward in a very smart way." He also addressed the stereotypes who said that he will be playing another "typical Muslin character. "It's more challenging and rewarding as an actor to explore various human traits."
