'Prison Break' Season 5 News, Premiere: Series To Return With This Familiar Character

Lincoln Burrows is to be return with another familiar character in Fox's "Prison Break" season 5.

According to Realty Today, Burrow's brother, Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) is the other character who is also going to come back to the series after he did in the series' storyline in 2009.

As per the publication, Scofield met his end at the conclusion of "Prison Break" season 4; but then, rumors say that he had faked his death in the season finale rather than helping his family get a way.

In fact, Fox CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman confirmed to Starpulse that Scofield did not die, but pretended to be dead. According to the network heads, "Prison Break" showrunners and writers have already written a script, which reveals the reason behind Scofield's return to the plot. They also pointed out that the fans would like the aforementioned plot.

In line with Scofield's rumored return to "Prison Break" season 5, it is also assumed that there will be a twist on the storyline, along with big revelations within the family.

"Prison Break" will come back to Fox on its tenth anniversary, according to TV Line. As per the publication, "The X-Files" and "Full House" are two other film remakes of television series from the 1960s to 1990s, which are set to return on television. Debuting its fifth season, "Prison Break" will contain ten episodes.

Aside from Fox's "Prison Break," Miller is also known for his roles in "House M.D.," "Young Justice," "The Loft," and "Superhero Fight Club." He also appeared in "The Flash" as Captain Cold and will reprise the superhero role in "Legends of Tomorrow."

"Prison Break" season 5 is set to hit televisions in March 2016.
