'Prison Break' Season 5 Cast News: Star Paul Adelstein Returns While William Fichtner Does Not?
Along with talks about "Private Practice" star Paul Adelstein's return, "The Dark Knight" actor William Fichtner is rumored not to come back to "Prison Break" season 5.
Fichtner, who plays he role of Alexander Mahone in the "Prison Break" series franchise, has been speculated not to return in the show's upcoming fifth season, according to Movie News Guide.
The aforementioned is at par with the details that no formal word had come out about the character's appearance in the series, as per Christian Times. According to the publication, Mahone was never far behind, as Kellerman was returning. In addition, Fichtner has not made a final word as to whether his character stays in the fifth season or not.
Along with "Prison Break," Fichtner plays the role of General Adams in Roland Emmerich's sci-fi film "Independence Day: Resurgence." The actor also has several projects in line and they include Danny DeVito's thriller "St. Sebastian," Sean Conant's documentary "The Gettysburg Address," Aaron Harvey's drama thriller "Last Days of Summer," and Willima H. Macy's comedy drama "Krystal."
Meanwhile, Adelstein is rumored to be part of "Prison Break" season 5. The actor played the role of Paul Kellerman in the "Prison Break" film franchise and previously, he took a photo of his character to his Instagram account. In caption, the actor wrote "Go for Kellerman... REALLY?? Oh, you KNOW I'm in for more Prison Break, by*tch."
Along with "Private Practice" and "Prison Break," Adelstein is known for his roles in Michael Mann's crime drama thriller "Collateral" and Harold Ramis' romantic comedy "Bedazzled." The actor is also set to appear in the thriller series entitled "Chance."
"Prison Break" season 5 stars Robert Knepper, Amaure Nolasco, and Rockmond Dunbar and it is assumed to air in 2017.
