The movie "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies' is all set to release on Feb. 19, 2016, as announced by the distribution company, Screen Gems.

The movie, which is based on the novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, will be directed by Burr Steers. The movie is co-written by David O. Russell. The movie will be produced by Cross Creek Pictures.

The filming began on September 24, 2014, at West Wycombe House & Park, Buckinghamshire

The plot of the movie revolves around the English classic novel by Jane Austen, "Pride and Prejudice,' along with a new twist that has a set of undead zombies roaming about the countryside. Amid a mysterious outbreak of plague which turns the undead into vicious killers, the sisters take on swords to fight the zombies, the intriguing element of the movie.

The movie stars Lily James, Bella Heathcote,Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, and Suki Waterhouse as the five Bennet sisters and, Sam Riley, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, and Matt Smith are their would-be suitors.

Riley will play Mr. Darcy, and Matt Smith has signed onto portray Mr. Collins.

James, who will be playing the character of Elizabeth Bennet, in the movie, spoke to Entertainment Weekly about her role and said, "Even in the original story, Elizabeth's a fighter and beyond her contemporaries in her ambitions and her ideas of women. She's a bada** warrior. She's a ninja."
