Things are not set to be kind to Hanna and the Liars in "Pretty Little Liars" season 7. Also, a Sara Shepard book is set to be featured in the upcoming season.

Hanna's fate is going to be dark in "Pretty Little Liars" season 7, Bustle has learned. In a synopsis from Freeform, as cited by the publication, it is revealed that the Liars have to transfer their aim to another one of their own, as they try to reel from the pain of Hanna's abduction and dark fate.

The upcoming season 7 episode also sees the Liars switch to action mode in order to get Alison out from the hospital and save her from Uber A's threats. While things are geared towards Alison's safety, it is revealed that the Liar's moves are set to backfire and adversely change things.

Various possibilities about Hanna's fate can be seen in "Pretty Little Liars" season 7. As per the report, Hanna may be locked up in Uber A's dollhouse, the same locale where Charlotte tormented the Liars for a number of weeks. Another possibility is that Hanna could be in jail due to murder, which was just covered by the liars. As per the publication, Hanna could also be hiding somewhere, as she could not go home after killing someone.

In other news, Shepard's new book entitled "Amateurs" is set to be featured in "Pretty Little Liars" season 7. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the said literary work is specifically bound to appear in one scene in episode 3. In the said episode, copies of the book are set to be seen on a table while Emily is talking to another character.

"Amateurs" is the first book to be launched under Disney Publishing's new imprint, Freeform, according to Design and Trend. The literary art concentrates on young adult and fiction and targets young readers aged 13 to 34 years old. With its appearance on the television, it is assumed that Freeform is applying various approaches on crossing over the books into other media platforms.

Meanwhile, "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is set to air on June 21 on Freeform.
