'Pretty Little Liars' Season 7 Premiere Date, News, Spoilers: Seventh Season to Unravel Mysteries Left By Season 6
Following the return of comedies "Young and Hungry" and "Baby Daddy," Freeform announced on April 7 the summer premiere date of the 7th season of its flagship drama "Pretty Little Liars."
Dubbed by Freeform as the series' "most romantic season yet," "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 is set to return on June 21, 8:00 P.M. While there has been no word yet if the mystery drama will be back for its 8th season, and while rumors have been going around that season 7 will be its final season, fans of the series consider it pretty much safe to assume that the upcoming season will have to get to the bottom of all the mysteries left by season 6.
The mind-blowing finale of season 6 revealed that Jessica DiLaurentis has an identical twin named Mary Drake, and that Mary is the biological mother of Charlotte, a.k.a. Big A. Season 6 ended with a bang but the revelations only posed new questions and introduced new puzzles in the deep-rooted mystery of the drama, which season 7 is expected to unveil.
In an interview, series creator I. Marlene King teased that season 7 will mark the beginning of the "end," and that it will have the liars "unearth answers to the last remaining secrets and take down 'Uber A' for good."
Synopsis for the upcoming season also reveals that the liars are set to commit the biggest mistake of their lives, and this is what 'Uber A' is going to use gain the upper hand for the final game.
