'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 News: ABC Teen Mystery Thriller TV Drama May End After Season 8

Although the identity of "A" was revealed in 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 summer finale, still there are other mysteries that need to be solved. Hence, it is being speculated that the show runners may extend the teen mystery-thriller television drama up to Season 8.

According to Christian Today, show creator Marlene King recently told Variety, "I think we'll let the fans tell us what they want."

Meanwhile, just ahead of 'Pretty Little Liars' Season 5 premiere, ABC renewed the popular series for two more seasons - 6 and 7. Although there was no official indication that the long-running mystery thriller may end after seven seasons, fans were of the view that this will be the closing run for 'Pretty Little Liars.'

Coming back to Season 6, when the second half of the current returns, fans will see the liars have already returned to college.

King told Variety,"They go on their separate ways for five years and an event brings them back to town." The show creator further promised fans that that from there, they will "get to discover a lot more about who they are."

In the meantime, fans of the show are still in a state of shock over the exposure of the real identity of "A," who tormented the girls for so long without any reason. While it was unexpected for many fans, others are yet to come to terms over the revelation in the Season 6 summer finale. In fact, actress Vanessa Ray, who portrays Cece Drake aka "A," also acknowledged this aspect.

Talking to Hollywood Life, Ray said, "It's been actually amazing just watching the fans react, because I actually feel like they were craving it." She added, "Some were angry or in denial and now they're in acceptance and they see me in a good place now and it's been fun to kind of go on that ride with them."

As far as the revelation is concerned, Ray said it is an episode that fans should watch more than once. The actress also expressed how grateful she is of the series.

"It's been really awesome for me," she said, adding, "Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my acting career so it is cool!"
