'Pretty Little Liars' Season 6 Episode 11 Spoilers: There's A New 'Uber Bad' As The Girls Get Older Again
On the next episode of "Pretty Little Liars," the girls will be back on their more matured selves. In the winter premier of the show, the girls will also encounter a new big bad in the show.
The show's executive producer Marlene King, told TV Line his insights about the second half of the season.
"There's a lot of awkwardness in 6B, especially in the first half as people are returning to Rosewood and reuniting. Old habits die hard, so when you put all these characters back together in this small town, there's going to be conflict. There's love, but there's also tension," he said.
According to King, the new antagonist of the show will be a mystery at first while it causes some trouble for the girls. The viewers will find out the motivation of this so called "Uber bad" before they actually reveal who he/she is.
"We definitely get edgier in 6B," King continues. "I wouldn't say we get darker, because we got very dark with the dollhouse, but the stakes are higher. And we're more grown up. That's the best way to describe the season: We're all grown up."
In other news, Ashley Benson, who plays Hanna Marin on the show is pleased that the girls once again turn to their old selves.
"It's nice to have mature conversations out of a high school setting," she said according to Christian Post. "It's so funny because the writers have us drinking in almost every scene to show that we're age-appropriate, but it's been fun!" She said that they had fun shooting the scenes and that it was nice to develop a new sense of the character.
