Last winter's season finale of the ABC hit show 'Pretty Little Liars' shocked viewers, as expected. Fans can recall that Mona's mother got physical and slapped Alison, who pleaded her innocence in Mona's death. On that note, poor Mona is still out there, waiting to be found.

Mona's body may be lost, but some of her secrets have been found. Her computer hard drive is believed to contain some answers, although Caleb is having trouble hacking into it. The Liars are convinced that Alison murdered Mona, and most likely, Bethany as well. However, they need evidence to prove it.

Hanna goes to Mrs. Grunwald, who cites "betrayal" and "darkness" as Mona's post-mortem situation.

Aria frets over her brother, who seems a bit too indifferent, considering his girlfriend just died. Aria also suspects A of sabotaging her application to Oberlin and asks Caleb to help her learn to hack. Aria also got a scare when she was approached by A's figure, rolled in plastic, and stapled to the wall. Wrapping up this series of events, Aria loses track of Mona's hard drive, which we suspect is in A's hands.

However, Mona's home was outfitted with secret security cameras, which reveal a person resembling A attacking and killing Mona. According to Jason, the attacker looks like Ali, whose whereabouts at the time are unknown.

Or are they? Police arrest Ali, calming down the Liars, and they get ready to head out of town. On that note, the season ends with a pretty little fireworks display of colors before an "A" appears in the sky.
