Pre-Orders Start For Urban Rescue's Latest Album 'Wild Heart;' Group Joining 'As Family We Go' Tour
"Wild Heart," Urban Rescue's latest album, will be released in store shelves and digital outlets on May 6, but pre-orders for the 11-track recording are available now.
Urban Rescue frontman Jordan Frye talked to Patheos about "Wild Heart" where he said that their main goal for the album is to "explore the heart of God."
"God knows what it's like to walk through difficulty and suffering," he said. "The times of pain and trials are the times when God is closest, because God cares so much for the brokenhearted. It was during the worst time of my life when my earthly father walked away, that God became everything to me."
Meanwhile, Urban Rescue will join Rend Collective for the "As Family We Go" tour, which will kick off in Academy Bristol in the United Kingdom on May 5, and Academy Bournemouth on May 6. On May 7, they will be at The Coronet (changing venue from the originally scheduled O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire) in London, and Norwich U.E.A on May 8.
The bands will take a brief rest before resuming the "As Family We Go" tour on May 11 at the Academy Oxford, and the Institute Birmingham on May 12, followed by Academy Sheffield on May 13, Ritz in Manchester on May 14, Academy Glasgow on May 15 and finally at the Ulster Hall in Belfast on May 18.
