'Powers' Season 2 Trailer Released, Cast News: Christian Devastated By Death of His Loved One

Powers is the first scripted series on the PlayStation Network. It's about a former superhero, now a detective, who investigates in a world full of people with powers.

We saw a death of Retro girl in last season's finale. Season two will continue the story for the fans to discover who killed one of the show's main characters.

Recently, the network has released the trailer for season 2. In the trailer, we see Mayor Victor Robles addressing the public the murder of Retro Girl. He said that the city will do whatever it takes to catch the murderer.

Christian (Sharlto Copley) is devastated by the death of his loved one. He kicks furniture, throws his bottle of alcohol to the wall; does anything just to let out all the anger within him. He puts all his efforts in the investigation just to solve the case. He was told by Captain Cross (Adam Godley) to do whatever he needs to do.

With Retro Girl gone to keep the peace, all hell breaks lose. The police have a hard time in controlling the riot from the crowd and bad guys are now free to lurk on streets at night.

Calista Secor (Olesya Rulin) puts on a cheerleader-like superhero outfit and gets introduced as the new Retro Girl. Will she be able to handle the hype and the expectations?

In the end of the trailer, we see a bunch of superheroes trapped by two waves of rallyists that are ripping the city into pieces. Will they manage to survive in the predicament that they're in? "Powers" season two will be released on the PlayStation Network in 2016 according to Comic Book
