'Power Rangers' Movie News Update: More 'Power Ranger' Toys Unveil Fresh Look At Other Zords
Following the unveiling of the T-Rex Zord and Megazord some weeks ago, more toys for the "Power Rangers" reboot have made their way online.
The new toys offer a glimpse at the other Zords for the upcoming "Power Rangers" film, which arrives early next year. The new leaks reveal the rather unique designs for the other Zords, including the Triceratrops, Mastodon, Sabertooth Tiger and the Pteroadactyl Zords.
The upcoming "Power Rangers" film features five ordinary high school students who are destined to become extraordinary. The kids turn into something they never imagined themselves to be when they learn about the threat coming not just to their small town but to the world. Chosen by destiny, the five individuals discover that Angel Grove and the world are on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat, and that they are the heroes destined to save the entire planet. However, doing so means that they have to overcome their personal issues and come together as the Power Rangers.
Directed by Dean Israelite, "Power Rangers" will star Dacre Montgomery as Jason the Red Ranger, RJ Cycler as Billy the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the Pink Ranger, Becky G as Trini the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as Zack the Black Ranger and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa. Bryan Cranston and Bill Harder will also play Zordon and Alpha 5, respectively.
Written by John Gatins, Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama, Zack Stentz and Ashley Miller, "Power Rangers" hits theaters on March 24, 2017.
