A latest report hinted that Posh Girls have agreed to undertake a world tour next year to celebrate the British girl band's 20th anniversary. However, Posh Spice a.k.a Victoria Beckham has chosen to give the world tour a miss to concentrate on her business interests.

According to IB Times, 2016 will mark 20th anniversary of one of the most successful girl bands in the history of music. The Spice Girls had released their debut single "Wannabe" on July 8, 1996, and it brought the quintet instant international stardom. Hence, three members of the Spice Girls - Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Mel B have decided to reunite for a world tour in 2016 to celebrate their two decades of togetherness, reported The Sun (via Mirror). However, Beckham has opted to give the proposed tour a miss, though she shares a cordial relation with all her former bandmates.

Victoria, currently the wife of former England football captain David Beckham posted a picture of an official Spice Girls photo album on Twitter. She captioned the photograph "Love my Spice Girls" with a hashtag #TBT or "Throwback Thursday."

In the '90s, the Spice Girls enjoyed unique success and were known as Ginger (Halliwell), Posh (Beckham), Baby (Bunton), Scary (Mel B) and Sporty (Mel C). The girl band sold over 75 million records and earned nine number ones in their career together. Their debut album, "Spice" was a massive commercial success internationally, selling a whopping 19 million copies. In fact, such amazing success also made the Spice Girls the fastest-selling British band since the Beatles.

However, as in the case of most bands, the Spice Girls too developed hostility among themselves. As a result, Halliwell quit the band in 1998 to pursue a solo career. Although the four other members of Spice Girls continued as a band until 2001, they too started focusing on their solo careers soon. The girls had reunited for a 47-date tour in 2007, after which they made their intentions clear that they did not want to stay together.
