Along with a new poster, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone's upcoming "Lonely Island" comedy film has got its final title.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal has revealed that the title of the first film from The Lonely Island crew is "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping." As per the publication it centers on the behind-the-scenes story of rapper Conner4Real, who is played by "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actor Andy Samberg. The character is in pursuit of preserving his fame following his "difficult" second album tanks by reuniting with his former boy band.

As he battles his crisis for popularity, fans, rivals, and stooges are all wondering what to do when he no longer stands as the most awesome star among others, as per the synopsis in Slash Film.

The "Lonely Island" film was initially given the title "Top Secret Untitled Lonely Island Movie." Aside from the title and plot, Universal has also unveiled the poster for "Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" in Jimmy Kimmel Live. It features Samberg wearing white clothes and shoes, along with a golden background, which suits well with the title "Popstar."

Aside from Samberg, the film also stars Taccone, Tim Meadows, Sandra Rosko, James Buckley, Mike Birbiglia, Sarah Silverman, and Imogen Poots, among others.

With "Saturday Night Live" writer Schaffer and Taccone at the helm of the film, Andy Samberg is on board to pen the screenplay of the film. "Trainwreck's" Judd Apatow and "Get Him to the Greek's" Rodney Rothman are set to co-produce the film.

"Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping" is set to premiere in theaters in the United States on June 3.
