The Tori Kelly phenomenon has been flooding social media as she climbs the charts reaching No. 1 on iTunes with her new album, Unbreakable Smile, andalthough the 22-year-old is most likely on her way to becoming the world's next mega pop star, her Christian faith and impromptu worship performances are catching the attention of the Christian community as well.

Kelly has been making her rounds on tour as she plays her newest album at sold out venues. The new singer was first seen on American Idol at the age of 16 but did not make it through. She later signed with Justin Beiber's manager Scooter Braun and her success is now sky rocketing. Although not a Christian artist, Kelly can be found on YouTube singing various worship songs she performed in the past.

A recent video of Kelly singing Hillsong United's "Oceans" at her New York concert has now surfaced and is garnering her the support of many in the Christian community.

"Overheard the most beautiful music under a bridge in central park while i was in new york.. bought their album, did an impromptu song & then invited them to perform at my show," Kelly wrote on Facebook, "thank you for letting me sing with you guys"

Hillsong took to social media reposting Kelly's video and the message "Love this! You are amazing Tori Kelly."

Immediately the younger singer garnered praise from those in the Christian community. "This is so legit! I love when Jesus gets made famous at secular concerts!!" one wrote, another stating, "She is a beautiful mainstream artist who loves Jesus! I love how she sings songs about her life's experiences & still represents God!"

Popular rapper Lecrae who is a voice in hip-hop for the Christian community has also co-signed Kelly by posting a picture on Instagram of her album saying, "Buy good music. Stirs the mind body and soul. Plus they are stand up people. #TheSystemDidntPlanForThis @torikelly @leonbridgesofficial."
