Pokémon Sun And Moon Release Date, Trailer: Two Upcoming Games Set To Be Released In Q4 2016?
Pokémon just celebrated its 20th birthday and with that, they have released a lot of merchandise in Japan as well as North America which consisted of Retro merchandise, 3DS bundles, 2DS bundles, cover plates, VC games on the Nintendo eShop, Kanto Starter plush and many more!
Fans went crazy this week online, posting how excited they are about the new items and fun memorabilia that they'll be able to purchase. According to Pokeshopper, the Red Champion edition was sold out in just four hours, give or take.
Also according to the site, there are a lot of events happening world-wide being topped by "TOMY," launching their 20th anniversary which was an entirely dedicated site for Pokémon Mythical plush. There's also the NYC Pokémon Nintendo event and Toys R Us feast happening. In the event, the people gave out a poster with the original 151 Pokémons. The posters were given away around noon time up to about 2 o'clock in the afternoon. Also, large Kanto starter plush Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle were highly sought after over at different Pokemon centers in Japan.
Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are two of the upcoming video games that the Pokemon Company will be releasing this year. There is no confirmed date yet regarding its release but it will most likely be released in the latter part of 2016; to close out the year-long Pokemon 20th Anniversary.
"Pokémon" was created by Satoshi Tajiri in 1995. It was first released as Pocket Monsters Red and Green back in 1996. The franchise started as a couple of video games for Game Boy. The games were developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo. Since then, the franchise has expanded from a couple of video games to trading cards, toys, books, TV shows and movies.
