'Pokémon Sun And Moon' Release Date, News: Trailer Reveals New Modes And Characters
The trailer for "Pokémon Sun And Moon" has been released and it shows new modes as well as new characters to be played in an entirely new location.
According to Screenrant, the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" will take place in Alola Region, which is meant to represent the Hawaii islands, "complete with jungles, tropical terrain, beaches and even volcanoes."
The environment is very important to how the gameplay works, particularly in battling, training and collecting new and old Pokémon characters.
The plot is still unknown at this point but the trailer of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" hinted at some details that players can expect, including a possible voice command on the Nintendo 3DS.
"Characters in the game will make use of a new type of 'talking' Pokedex," it said. "That 'classic' Pokémon that are captured on the new Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow can be imported into the game via the Pokémon Bank."
Meanwhile, the trailer of "Pokémon Sun and Moon" also revealed a full-on battle mode along with four new Pokemons. These are the Pikipek (Keen Eye, Skill Link), Grubbin (Swarm), Magearna (Soul-Heart) and Yungoos (Strong Jaw, Stakeout).
"Additionally, four player free-for-all battles called Battle Royal are shown off," said Game Spot. "Each player can choose to attack one of the other three Pokemon--it looks there's ample opportunity to gang up on one trainer and ruin their day."
The "Pokémon Sun And Moon" will have a release date of Nov. 18, 2016 on Nintendo 3DS.
