'Pokemon Sun And Moon' Release Date News: New Pokemon Leaked; Game To Bring Back Pokemon Rides

New Pokemon from "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon's" Alola region have been revealed.

On July 1, the Pokemon Company have unveiled new Pokemon species from the Alola region thru The Official Pokemon Channel on YouTube. The clip opens with Melemele Island Guardian Tapu Koko, an electric fairy type Hawaiian themed Pokemon. Its ability is called Electric Surge, which sets up an electric terrain in battle.

Grubbin's evolution chain have also been revealed and they are the mini-bus cocoon Charjabug and the electric beetle Vikavolt. Both are bug and electric type, which means flying and ground type moves do neutral damage while fire and rock moves do twice damage due to weakness.Charjabug's ability is Battery while Vikavolt's ability is Levitate, which means the latter is immune to ground type moves.

Another new Pokemon from Alola is Drampa, the region's first unveiled dragon type Pokemon. Its normal typing also puts sense to speculations that it is the evolution of Hoenn Pokemon Dunsparce. Drampa is thought to be inspired from the creature from Wolfgang Petersen's fantasy film "Never Ending Story." Drampa's abilities are berserk and sap sipper.

In the aquatic scene, Alola has rolled up its waves for the water psychic fish Pokemon, Bruxish. Following its release, players raised the idea that it is one of the weirdest Pokemon to date. Some fans even mentioned Bruxish as Jynx's counterpart in the ocean, mainly due to its eccentric design, which gives it a strange aura. Its abilities are strong jaw and dazzling, which prevents its foes from using priority moves like quick attack, fake out, and brave bird in battle.

Cutiefly is one of Alola's newest Pokemon. Several fans thought that the bug fairy creature is adapted by Nintendo and Game Freak from fans' request. While no known evolution has been revealed for the cute bee fly, its abilities are revealed to be honey gather and shield dust.

Finally, Alola has unveiled its version of Pikachu, Togedemaru. As the seventh generation of the electric mouse family, following Plusle, Minun, Pachirisu, and Dedenne, Togedemaru is an electric and steel type with the abilities iron barbs, which hurt opposing Pokemon that use physical moves, and lightning rod, which lets him absorb lightning moves and raise its special attack.

Meanwhile, "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" have confirmed the return of the player's ability to ride Pokemon on land in-game. Recently, a screenshot of the game has surfaced and it features the main character riding on a Stoutland. This feature was introduced in Pokemon X and Y, in which players can ride on a Rhyhorn and a Mammoswine. The image can be viewed in Nintendo Everything.

"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are set to be released on Nov. 18. Watch Alola's new Pokemon on the Channel here
