'Pokémon Sun & Moon' News, Rumors: Leaked Details Show Alola Pokedex, Starter Evolutions
Following Nintendo's reveal of the new Alola forms and new Pokémon for "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," a leak reportedly revealed Alola's Pokedex, including the typing of the regional starters.
Based on the leaked details, "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" are set to have 104 new Pokémon species, as per 4Chan. According to the publication, the list of Alola's Pokedex is led by the grass flying owl Pokémon Rowlet and it ends with the man-made Pokémon Magearna.
From Pokémon Red, Pokémon Blue, and Pokémon Green, up to Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, fans saw fixed typings for every Pokémon; however, the recent leak revealed that Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio's final evolution are named Robinroot, Beltigre, and Sirene, respectively.
It is speculated that Robinroot retains the grass flying typing. On the other hand, Beltigre will have a fire dark typing while Sirene is set to have water fairy typining. However, the leak revealed that the starters' final evolutions are set to have a "various" secondary typing. It is unclear as to what it means at this point, but it is assumed that the secondary typing has something to do to the new bracelet the character will obtain in the game.
Along with the Alolan starters, three other Pokémon were revealed to have "various" secondary typing. One is the normal rock type dog Rockruff, which is said to evolve into steel, fairy, dark, and fighting secondary type. Darline and Delfine, both unrevealed, are set to have various typing also, as per the leak.
Malshadow, which is linked with psychic-steel legendary Solgaleo and psychic-ghost legendary Lunala, is set to have a dark-fire typing,
As of now, the list are at par with Nintendo's reveal; thus, they can be viewed as accurate, as per Heavy.
Meanwhile, "Pokémon" players are set to choose between Solgaleo and Lunaala and among starters Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio when "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" come out on Nov. 18.
