'Pokemon Sun And Moon' News: Title Includes A Fighting Bear, Pika-Ghost Pokemon?

Nintendo's "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" have added two new Pokemon in their growing Pokedex ensemble, Kiteruguma and Mimikkyu.

Pokemon trainers are set to encounter and capture two new Pokemon to complete their Pokedex. According to Pokebeach, Kiteruguma is the newest bear Pokemon, following Kanto's Snorlax, Johto's Teddiursa and Ursaring, Hoenn's Spinda, Sinnoh's Munchlax, Unova's Cubchoo and Beartic, and Kalos' Pancham and Pangoro.

While it looks cute, Kiteruguma always hugs its trainer; however, it is said to be highly dangerous, as it can break anything in half. Thus, the Alola region has signs as warning to people.

Kiteruguma has been revealed to be normal and fighting, in terms of typing, which makes him similar to Mega-Loppuny. This means that Alola's bear is set to be weak against fighting, flying, psychic, and fairy moves while it is to resistant to dark, bug, and rock type moves. Also, Kiteruguma is unaffected by ghost type moves.

Meanwhile, Mimikkyu is Alola's first resident ghost/fairy Pokemon, although it has been revealed previously that the trainers' Pokedex will be possessed by a ghost/lightning Pokemon named Rotom.

As the seventh-generation counterpart of Gastly, Misdreavous, Sableye, Duskull, Shuppet, Rotom, Yamask, Drifloon, Spiritomb, Litwick, Phantump, and Pumpkaboo, Mimikkyu is revealed to love darkness and hate sunlight. It covers itself with a Pikachu veil to avoid the light and people are warned not to look under its veil, as their might be afflicted with things like a curse.

Mimikkyu's latest appearance resembles a ghost Pikachu. Following its release, many fans speculated that the ghost Pokemon has the ability to copy the appearance of other Pokemon. This concept can be attributed to its ability called Disguise. With this ability, Mimikkyu is seen as an iteration of the jelly Pokemon Ditto, which has a unique genetic material that lets it transform to any kind of Pokemon.

In-game, Mimikkyu's ghost/fairy typing makes it weak to ghost, dark, steel, and poison moves and immune to normal, fighting (except to Pokemon with Scrappy ability), and dragon moves.

"Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are set to come out on Nov. 18. Watch the title's trailer here.
