'Pokémon GO' Release Date, News & Update: Game Coming In June?; New Features Include Character Creation, Weather Conditions?

Along with the hype Nintendo brought to fans recently, a potential release date for "Pokemon GO" has been revealed.

According to Movie News Guide, the release date for "Pokemon GO" is set to be in June. As per the publication, Nintendo and Niantic are presumed to unveil new details about the anticipated game on June 2, which a Thursday.

Fans have arrived with June 2, due to a pattern observed since Mar. 3. It can be recalled that the companies have made their announcements on "Pokemon GO," along with the release of a Beta version on Mar. 3. After that, another Beta was announced on Apr. 7. Fans can also recall that Nintendo and Niantic released the "Pokemon GO" trailer on May 5 and it is notable that the aforementioned dates fell on a Thursday.

In other news, additional features for "Pokemon GO" have been noted by beta testers from Australia. "Pokemon GO" betsa tester Darkathion noted in Neurogadget, the game allows players to create a character, walk around, capture some Pokemon, and engage in a battle. In addition, the latest Beta revealed that certain weather conditions give players access to particular Pokemon, such as lightning type Pokemon. The leaked details appear to have been removed, according to Parent Herald.

As for the time being, the revelation of the three starter Pokemon in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" has brought much hype to "Pokemon" players and fans. On May 10, Nintendo has revealed that gamers are set to choose from Rowlet, the grass quill Pokemon; Litten, the fire cat Pokemon; and Popplio, the sea lion Pokemon. Among the three, the grass flying type owl Pokemon has received love from fans while the baby sea lion was criticized and hated by some.

Overall, "Pokemon GO" is assumed to be released in June, probably after a presumed June 2 announcement. Meanwhile, "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" is set to be released on Nov. 18, 2016.
