'Pokemon GO' Release Date News: Coming Out This Year, Beta App Available For Game Testing Prior To Launch

Before the start of the Super Bowl 50 which featured the Carolina Panthers against the team that would eventually win it all, the Denver Broncos, the Pokemon Company showed a commercial for their upcoming video game feature, the Pokemon Go. After being aired in national television, it was viewed 18 million times on Youtube by everyone else around the world.

According to N4BB, the game will come out sometime this year and will be available for iOS and Android devices. There will also be a beta app for the sole purpose of game testing just before the full launch of the game.

There will be an official demonstration of the game happening. The said event will be held at the Game Developers Conference sometime in March.

Pokemon Go will be an innovative game that will let players wear a watch for them to track down and catch Pokemons which would vary depending on the location that they are in.

The Pokemon Go app was reported to be free for download, but the items or any additional for the game can be purchased inside the game itself. Players can also trade pokemons through their devices.

There have recently been a lot of fake websites popping out over the recent months pretending to be the main source for information about the recent turnabouts of the game. The Pokemon company has addressed the issue and stated:

"In regards to the beta test of Pokémon GO, no official announcements have been made. As soon as they are new information, it will be announced in the Pokémon GO official site."
