'Pokemon GO' Plus Price, Release Date News: Accessory Pre-Orders Started
The Nintendo website confirmed the news about its UK store has already started accepting pre-orders for the "Pokémon GO" and the Plus add-on ahead of the July release for the title.
In the US, the retail price is set at $34.99, which would be the same with the UK, which is set at £34.99, which already includes the wristband.
"The UK store is limiting pre-orders to one per customer, citing a late July release but avoiding a specific date," the website said. "The listing does also outline compatible iOS handsets - iPhone 5 / 5c / 5s / SE / 6 / 6s / 6 Plus/ 6s Plus with iOS 8 - 9. Android compatibility details are promised at a later date."
Meanwhile, Mobi Picker said that the news about the release date for "Pokémon GO" was surprising in the sense that nobody predicted that it would be this soon.
The accessory that can be purchased through pre-order is mated to a smartphone equipped with a "Pokémon GO." The device will then vibrate if a Pokémon is nearby.
However, there's bad news for "Pokémon GO" fans, however, as the Plus accessory is currently unavailable in Amazon due to out of stock.
But the description said that the accessory will allow the user to catch Pokemon by just clicking a button. The user can also gather Poke Balls, Pokemon Eggs, Berries at PokeStop locations without the need to open the smartphone.
Nevertheless, there's no news yet whether the "Pokémon GO" release date will be simultaneous worlwide, or it's going to be launched in Japan first as earlier reported.
