Pokemon Go Plus News, Release Date: Upcoming Game Link To ‘Sun and Moon’ Possible?
The anticipation on the launch of the wearable accessory seemed to have drowned the news about the possibly linking the "Pokémon Go" with the "Pokémon Sun and Moon," which will reportedly have a release date of November 2016.
The "Pokemon Go" is now one of the most popular games of all time, but there are still some monsters that can only be played in the "Sun and Moon," particularly those in "Alola" form. There are also some characters that are specific to the latter title.
Apparently, linking the two games was always on the table for Nintendo as "Sun and Moon" director Shigeru Ohmori and producer Junichi Masuda explained.
Masuda said that the two titles will have very diverse gameplay, especially on the appearance of the monsters as well as the catch rate. For now, they are still finding ways on how to link "Sun and Moon" with "Pokémon Go" that would not upset the balance of the two games.
Meanwhile, the "Pokémon Go" Plus still doesn't have a release date but it will set back the user $34.99, said the report. It's said that the wearable accessory will be available probably next month although the exact date is not known.
The news about the delay of "Pokémon Go" Plus was received with disappointment. A statement to Polygon explained the reasons why. "The delay is due to the preparations for the Pokémon Go application update in order to optimize Pokémon Go Plus," it said.
The interview by Masuda and Ohmori didn't touch the "Pokémon Go" Plus, so probably there's no significant news in that regard particularly on the gameplay.
