'Pokémon Go' Release Date News: Shiny Legends As Event Gift? ‘Pokémon Z' To See Dark Mewtwo From ‘Pokken Tournament?’

Along with Volcanion's potential appearance in the forthcoming "Pokemon" film, "Pokemon Z" is rumored to include Dark Mewtwo while "Pokemon GO" could feature event gifts like shiny legendary Pokemon.

Dark Mewtwo could appear in "Pokemon Z," along with Kalos' ground-dragon legendary Pokemon Zygarde, according to Movie Pilot. As per the publication, the said Mewtwo form is possibly a higher form of evolution or a second stage of evolution.

Mewtwo's third form appeared in footage from the "Pokken Tournament" game and differed from what "Pokemon" fans and games have seen from Mewtwo X and Mewtwo Y in "Pokemon X" and "Pokemon Y." In 20 years of "Pokemon's" existence from "Pokemon Red" and "Pokemon Blue," Mewtwo legacy goes on with "Pokemon Omega Ruby" and "Pokemon Alpha Sapphire."

For "Pokemon GO," which allows users to play, battle opponents, and catch Pokemon using their Android and Apple devices, the game is rumored to feature Pokemon from Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos, along with the Mega Evolutions. In addition, the game could also have some event gifts, just like in the video game, in the form of shiny Pokemon like Xerneas and Yveltal.

According to Crossmap, the January issue is set to feature Volcanion, which was initially unveiled in December 2015. As per Serebii, the fire-water steam Pokemon has feelings of hatred towards humans, which may be included in the forthcoming "Pokemon X, Y, and Z" film releases in the latter part of 2016.

Volcanion's Pokedex data reveal that the Pokemon emits billows of steam from the arms on its back, allowing it to vanish into the dense fog. The fire-water Pokemon also possesses immense power to destroy mountains, which are considered to be its habitat.

"Pokemon Z" and "Pokemon GO" are set to come in 2016.
