‘Pokémon GO’ Release Date News: Augmented Reality Game Approaching This Year, No Plans For Beta Testing?
Nintendo and Niantic will take you to the Pokemon universe with the release of "Pokémon GO," an augmented reality game that will make you experience Pokemon reality.
With the help of iOS and Android smartphones, "Pokémon GO" gamers can summon Pocket monsters into the human world, sit them on the furniture or chase them around the streets.
Players can still trade and battle Pokemon with their friends.
Alongside "Pokémon GO," Nintendo is also releasing "Pokémon GO" Plus, a smartwatch that will alert players of Pokémon even without looking at their smartphones.
"Pokémon GO" is slated for a 2016 debut, but Nintendo and Niantic are still very busy fine-tuning the big game to give an official release date .
The Pokémon official website says that there are no plans for beta testing at the moment. Nonetheless, fans can look forward a fresh "Pokémon GO" commercial on Super Bowl Sunday this Feb. 7.
Meanwhile, according the the latest buzz, the upcoming Nintendo NX will be released as a mobile device. Express UK reports that the much anticipated console may include integrated augmented reality (AR) elements. This revelation attracts rumors that "Pokémon GO" will also be released for the Nintendo NX.
If "Pokémon GO" will indeed match with Nintendo NX, then the release date of the two will most likely come after each other. Sadly, there is also no release date for the Nintendo NX.
Moreover, Nintendo has signed the developer team from Niantic for future AR titles.
