'Pokémon GO' Cheaters News: Niantic Implements Permanent Ban To Cheaters?
Bad news awaits for "Pokemon GO" cheaters, as Niantic is set to ban them permanently.
In a statement, as per Niantic's official website, the developer mentioned that a player's account can be terminated permanently if he does one or more other following - falsifying his location, using game emulators, using illegal softwares change the gameplay, and accessing "Pokemon GO" clients or backends without permission.
According to Niantic, such ban is implemented as their goal was to provide a just, fun, and legal gaming experience for the users. Also, the developer revealed that improving and optimizing the anti-cheat system is their strategy to provide high-quality gaming experience.
In line with this, players who believe that their account has been wrongly terminated, they can appeal such termination through this form. Also, Niantic does not encourage the usage of social media to raise appeals for privacy issues.
As per The Verge, some "Pokemon GO" users have been receiving ban news for a certain period of time and Niantic's permanent ban implementation is assumed to lead users not to utilize third-party gaming applications or program interface.
"Pokemon GO" is Nintendo and Niantic's free location-based reality game, which allows players to use their mobile device's GPS capability to search, battle, capture, and train virtual Pokemon. The creatures, which are based on the "Pokemon" manga, anime, and video games appear on the phone screen in the same real-world location as the player.
Nintendo and Niantic's "Pokemon GO" was released for the iOS and Android on July 6.
