PlayStation VR Release Date, News: PS VR Is Worth Every Penny?

When the news about the Playstation VR was announced, particularly that it will cost half of the price of the HTC Vive, people were quite skeptic.

The skepticism further grew with the announcement that the VR gadget may be launched using your standard Playstation VR.

But most of the reviews coming out have attest to the gaming experience even with the cheaper price tag.

However, PC Advisor warned that gamers should mute their expectations a little bit since the Playstation VR is launched via the console after all. That means it won't rival the HTC and Oculus Rift which are going to be connected to the more powerful PC.

As long as people have that in mind, they can actually enjoy the gaming experience that the Playstation VR is offering. Nevertheless, people who may complain about the graphics are those who have tried on the Oculus or the HTC Vive as well.

In other news, Sony will reportedly work hard to prevent some mis-purchase on the Playstation VR playable titles.

According to Geek.com, labeling would be very important for Sony to avoid some complaints later on.

The article said that there's going to be a small band on the top of the game title's box that will either read, "Playstation VR Compatible" or "Playstation VR Required." This is especially geared towards parents who may be buying the games on the shelves based on the request of their kids without necessarily knowing what they are buying.

Watch out for more Playstation VR news which will be published here ahead of the launch in October 2016.
