PlayStation VR News, Update: 'Brookhaven Experiment' Included To List Of Games; Free Upgrades For PS4 Owners

More titles are announced for the Playstation VR, including a horror game, "The Brookhaven Experiment." The news is shared by the developer itself in a blog post uploaded on Aug. 29.

According to the Playstation blog, "The Brookhaven Experiment" would be a good introduction to the VR experience with its survival horror theme.

"You start the game feeling helpless and afraid, and as you get better with the realistic shooting, you start to feel more powerful... but always watch your back!" it said.

Aside from "The Brookhaven Experiment," other new titles that are coming to the Playstation VR include "Farpoint," "Here They Lie," "VR Worlds" and the controversial "Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3," although it's not clear whether it's going to see release in the US because of the sexual nature of the game.

Meanwhile, in other news, owners of PlayStation 4 will get a chance to get VR support later this year when the PlayStation VR head-mounted display is launched. The better news, however, is that some of the games will be offered for free.

Among the early titles that will get VR support are "Super Stardust Ultra VR," "Hustle Kings VR" and "Bound." There's also report of the "Star Wars: Battlefront" that will be added to VR compatibility at the launch of the HMD.

There should be more titles that will be announced that will be included in the virtual reality support for PS4. Just watch out for more news on the Playstation VR which will be published here when they become available ahead of the release date for the head-mounted display on Oct 13.
