Playstation Plus Free Games Update: April 2015's List of Free Titles for PS Plus Members
It's that time again where PlayStation Plus members get their free game for the month. This time around, April's lineup includes the fun, the puzzling, and the intense. Six games were announced and they are available across the lineup of Sony's consoles and handheld gaming devices.
The first one announced for the PS4 and PS3 is Tower of Guns. It's a first person shooter game where players have to maneuver their way around a tower loaded with all types of shooting mechanisms.
Aarus Awakening is for both PS4 and PS3 consoles. Ryan Clements, Social Media Specialist for The Play Station Blog, described the game in a video. "What started as a school project for a team of students in Iceland, is now a gorgeous platformer about navigating treacherous terrain with well-timed teleports."
Exclusively for PS4 owners, the beautiful and critically acclaimed puzzle game Never Alone will be available for free. Players guide an Alaskan native, Nuna, across many challenging terrains. Accompanying players is an adorable white fox who helps Nuna find a way to save her village.
For the PS3, Dishonored has finally made its way to be among the featured free games. This first person stealth game is heralded for making the player's choices the pivotal part of the game. The character is framed for murder so it's up to the players to clear their name and seek revenge.
PS Vita will not be left out either. Killzone Mercenary is a critically acclaimed first person shooter where players show enemies how well they can shoot and kill others. Monster Bag is quite the opposite from the other PS Vita release. It's a puzzle game where a monster shaped like a bag has to find his way to his friend without scaring others.
All six games will be available for PlayStation Plus members starting next week. March's free games will be available up until April 8.
