Stepping into some of the comments from users on Facebook, it seems as though many of them are most excited for 'inFAMOUS: First Light'.
For those that are unfamiliar, 'inFAMOUS First Light' was released on August 26, 2014, and it is an action-packed stand-alone mini-game that centers on the adventures of a character named Fetch. The character is best known for her use of Neon powers, which surely come in handy through out the course of the game.
While PlayStation Plus offers the game for no charge at all in the month of January the game normally runs at a retail price of $14.99.
One PS plus user, clearly happy about the free games this month posted, "Oh mon dieu Prototype 2 + First Light + Duke Nukem = Good month," while another wrote, "I love Infamous I want a #2."
Clearly some gamers are happy about the games offered at the start of the new year, however, some are not so pleased. One user posted his disapproval saying, "Figures.. You guys release First Light for January, after I've already bought it. Thanks Sony."
On a side note, the official PlayStation website is currently down for maintenance, and there's no word about when it's going to be back up. The message on the site reads, "We are currently experiencing widespread network issues that are being addressed."
As it stands, PS gamers everywhere are hoping that the official website will be up before the new games for January 2015 via PlayStation Plus service go live.
