PlayStation Plus Free Games July 2016 Rumors: 'The Evil Within' For PS4; 'Dishonored' For PS3?

Following the recent E3 2016 event in L.A., Calif., a lot of gamers are tuning in for the announcement of free games for PlayStation Plus this July.

According to Bit Bag, the list of games might be announced at the end of this month. Also according to some rumors that the site has picked up, "The Evil Within," a third-person psychological horror video game, will be part of the free games for the PlayStation next month.

Morning News USA reports that the game is already free all across Japan, so we're guessing that it's only a matter of time that the game will be free worldwide. A "Resident Evil" installment may also be offered as a marketing strategy to promote the upcoming "Resident Evil 7."

Also, seemingly confirming the above, Christian Times reports rumors that it is with high probability that an action-horror game may be made available for free, and that the game might either be "The Evil Within" or "Resident Evil 6."

Regarding PlayStation 3, players are hoping for "The Last of Us" and "Dishonored." This might be a good marketing strategy as well for both games with potential sequels coming up, especially for "Dishonored" since we already know that a sequel is on its way.

There are a lot of requests going on right now at PlayStation's community page. People over there are practically begging for some cool titles they hoped PlayStation would have given out months ago.

Who knows what game will be released in July? PlayStation recently handed out "NBA 2K16" which is a really good deal since it's still priced a $60 at the PlayStation Store.
