PlayStation Plus Free Games For August 2016: Sony Reveals Six Free Games Available For Download
Sony has revealed six free games for Playstation Plus that are available for August. Members can now download the titles for PS Vita, PS3 and PS4.
According to Gamestop, the Playstation Plus free games for August are "a diverse lineup." There's a Tetris-like game, space-combat, a shooter and an action-adventure game. Fans can also wax nostalgic by playing old-school favorites that have been upgraded through the new technology.
For example, "Ultron" has that classic feel with side-scrolling shooter function and some 2D graphics. The stages are endless, and they get harder each stage, although after 40 levels, things would become more familiar.
"Tricky Towers," meanwhile, is a physics-based game where the players are asked to stack their bricks to create a tower that can match up against the enemy. The very popular "Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell" will allow players to choose between Johnny Gat and Kinzie Kensington as they descend into hell to rescue the President kidnapped by the devil himself.
IGN described the game as goofy and fun, although the side challenges to attract Satan's attention can be somewhat monotonous in some parts.
That means Playstation Plus Free Games for July such as the "Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood" (PS3), "Saints Row: Get Out of Hell" (PS4), "Fat Princess" (PS3), "Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines" (PS Vita), "Prince of Persia: Revelations" (PSP; PS Vita compatible) and "Furi" (PS4) will expire on Aug. 2.
