PlayStation Plus Free Games April 2016: All Indie Games At The Moment
It is almost April and Sony still hasn't given out the complete list of their free games for PlayStation Plus for the coming month.
As of now, all we know is that an indie game will be featured in the subscription. But indie games won't be enough, rather it has come to be one of the PlayStation's shortcomings if we analyze the issue.
According to The Bit Bag, an online shooting game by the name of "Dead Star" is included in the free games set up to be released in April. However, that won't be enough if ever they want to keep their current subscribers.
Xbox's Games with Gold program currently has "Fallen," "Borderlands" and "Crimes and Punishment: Sherlock Holmes" on their free games list. Currently, PlayStation Plus offers two indie games namely, "Broforce" and "Galak-Z." It's a total mismatch if we compare it with what Xbox Games with Gold is offering.
Now, we have "Killzone: Shadowfall" topping the list for many players who would like to see it available free on PS Plus, something which makes sense. Sony has to put something out there which will attract people into staying with the PlayStation Plus service.
Indie games alone won't do. I mean, those are definitely good games; great games which everyone in the household family would enjoy, but there has to be something exceptional to be included there as well.
The people who subscribe to PlayStation Plus can expect the release of the official announcement of the free games this week.
What will the other games be? Will Sony put some more great games there or will they settle for less?
