PlayStation Network (PSN) Down Due To Outrage Issues, Now Active
PlayStation Network had a rough road following the start of 2016, according to recent reports.
According to IGN, all services of the PlayStation Network are now up and running, but prior to that the network faced some service issues, which affected the services of PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. As per the publication, the account management down to the network's gaming and social features were down.
The PlayStation Network might have been hit by a fresh outrage issue, which affects PlayStation 4 owners, according to Express UK.
At present, services including PlayStation Music, PlayStation Store, PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Video, PlayStation Now, Gaming and Social, and Account Management, are up and running, according to PlayStation status page.
SCE Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida expressed his apologies for the service problem experienced by the PlayStation network. On Jan. 4, he wrote on Twitter, "As people are tweeting, PSN is back online." In the same tweet, Yoshida said that he was very sorry for the inconvenience, along with his expression of gratitude for the people's patience.
Twitter users expressed their delight and praised Yoshida and the team's immediate action.
Twitter user Matthew Blackwell tweeted that they all joked about the issue, but praised the team for doing an awesome job of getting the problem fixed faster than expected.
Another Twitter user, MyXBoxOneHateMyPS4, wrote on Twitter "@yosp Understandable, nothing in life is perfect, glad you guys are doing a better job at get PSN running quickly #GreatnessAwaits."
Previously, Sony issued a statement to Express UK, saying that users might have some difficulty launching games, applications, or online features. The multinational company added that its engineers were working to resolve the issue a soon as possible and expressed its gratitude to people for their patience.
