'Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2' Release Date: Available On PS4, Xbox One and PC, To Be Released On February 23
With only a few hours away, "Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2" is set to make an impact in app stores as gamers await its release.
According to the summary provided by Metacritic, the zombies have finally conquered the yard and it will be the plants who will be attacking this time.
The site's summary states that "In your Backyard Battleground you can edit your character's abilities and customizations, choose quests, jump into co-op or multiplayer action modes, or invite up to three friends in to your backyard to start a party and take on AI - defeat a wave, and a more powerful wave will show up. You can also switch teams to challenge your friends. Backyard Battleground is your own frontline base to plan your attack before you enter the battle for Zomburbia."
A lot of sites have given out their own review about this anticipated game. GameSpot score the game, 7 out of 10, saying that "it's a robust shooter with an astounding level of mechanical diversity that all but guarantees you'll encounter something new every round you play."
EGM meanwhile scored it 7.5 out of 10. However, some sites have given the game poor review scores. Also according to the site, GamesRadar, US Gamer, Examiner and Hardcore Gamer gave the game a low review score of 4 out of 10. These critics all say that the game will be pretty much the same and that they have failed to add something new to the game.
The game is developed by PopCap Games and will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is set to be released on February 23, and it is expected to be priced at $60.
