The Pittsburgh Steelers goes head-to-head with the Kansas City Chiefs on December 21 at the Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Steelers (9-5) are trying to boost their current winning streak to three games, after defeating the Atlanta Falcons by a score of 27-20 (this past Sunday) when Pittsburgh QB Ben Roethlisberger went 27-35 for 360 yards in the victory.

"The last couple of games have been playoff games for us," said Roethlisberger to reporters.

"We've had to take that approach and that mindset because of how important every game was where we were record wise, seed-wise whatever you want to call it. We've kind of had that mentality for the last couple of weeks that it's time to get hot and play our best football. So we're just going to continue to try to do that."

Pittsburgh linebacker Arthur Moats expressed his thoughts about his squad's upcoming home game versus the Chiefs in the "Steel City."

"The fact that they're still winning games and haven't been able to have passing touchdowns like that, it shows that they're a very resourceful team," said Moats to reporters.

Meanwhile, the Chiefs (8-6) are looking to stretch their winning streak to two games following their recent 31-13 defeat against their AFC West division foes Oakland Raiders (on December 14), before Kansas City faces the Steelers this Sunday.

"It was kind of the focus all week of us kind of cutting it loose, going out there and playing for each other," said Kansas City QB Alex Smith to reporters.

"(Chiefs head coach Andy Reid) always talks about that, letting emotions show, and I thought guys did a good job of that."
